Goulash
16 oz elbow macaroni
1 cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, diced
1 lb ground meat, beef, turkey, venison
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 Tbs dried parsley
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
While the pasta is cooking cook the onion and garlic in a covered fry pan with a little water (in place of fatty oil). Once the onion and garlic are transparent and easy to smash with a fork add the ground meat and brown. Depending on the meat you may have to drain off the fat before the next step. Add the tomatoes and cooked meat to the pasta in the baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes. You may add cheese before you pop it in the oven. Some cheeses that we have used are shredded cheddar, Velveeta, or parmesan. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted.
