Acts 1:5,8

Acts 1:5
For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

JESUS was not saying that going foward we should not get the water baptisim. HE was just using the act of baptism as an example to help explain how the HOLY SPIRIT would come. It would be like a baptism. Further on you see the people at Pentocost getting baptized, and so many others throughout the rest of the book. So water baptism is still required Acts 2:38.

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

WooHoo! Power is good. Don't let anyone tell you that this was just a message for the apostles. It says to the uttermost part of the earth. This is for all belivers who have been filled with the HOLY GHOST.

I want to keep this subject open so I will come back and focus more on this later.

Great Day!
